Founded in 1982 by industrialist Late shri Ayyanadar.ANJA polytechnic is affiliated to DOTE.This college is funded by State Government and Management .
The Polytechnic is located at Konampatti on the Sivakasi-Sattur Road about 8 Km from Sivakasi Town and 9 Km from Sattur Town. It was sponsored by the Janakiammal Ayyanadar Trust, Sivakasi which is a public Charitable Trust. Now, it is being run by Ayyanadar Janakiammal Technical Education Committee, Sivakasi. The Polytechnic campus is 64.38 acres in extent and is provided with all modern amenities.This polytechnic is a Government aided co-educational Institution and affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education.
